Don't Be Scammed! Protect Your Identity & Your Money
Carole Fisher, Cornell Cooperative Extension
Save up to 40% on your home energy bills
Kenneth Schlather, Cornell Cooperative Extension
On average, New Yorkers spend more than $2,600 per year on energy, heat, and hot water. Through energy conservation, homeowners can save up to 40% of that amount, or up to $1,000 a year.  This workshop will provide homeowners and apartment dwellers with some tools to help them identify where energy losses are taking place and how to stop them. The program will also provide information on what financial resources are available to households to help them install and implement energy conserving measures in their homes.
Managing Your Financial Health
Gene Quidort, eni
We see it in the paper every day. What can you do about it? The most effective approach for managing your financial health is an integrated one that requires you to focus on two specific areas. You must reduce your cost of living and you must increase the prevalence of a healthy financial lifestyle. These areas require logical skills and behavioral changes. This interactive presentation will give you ideas, options, and strategies for managing your money.
Staying on Track in a Volatile Market
Janice Schillaci, TIAA-CREF
It is for those who are concerned about the financial markets' impact on retirement savings.  We will be discussing stock market volatility and the importance of asset allocation and diversification for reaching financial goals.
