Frequently Asked Questions

My major has a language proficiency requirement. Can I use those language courses as my CLA?

No, you may not use the language courses that you take to fulfill a language proficiency requirement in your major. You may, however, use language courses beyond the level at which proficiency is established by your major to fulfill your CLA. For example, if your major requires you to complete language study through the 202 (intermediate) level, you may use any course in that language beyond the 202 level as part of the CLA.
