Janet Kalinowski Student Development Fund

The Janet Kalinowski Student Development Fund provides support to students of accomplishment and promise who are engaged in the study of issues surrounding gender and social position. The fund may provide financial assistance for:
    -  Research
    -  Participation in professional conferences
    -  Special training opportunities
    -  Other educational projects or opportunities that enhance intellectual growth.

Funding:  The award(s) will range from $200 to $500, depending upon the number of worthy applications received and the amount of funds available. 

Deadline: The next funding deadline will be announced in spring 2012.

Procedures:  Students should complete the application form providing a brief but clear explanation of how they would use the funds. A faculty committee will review applications. The application should be submitted either as an e-mail attachment to Asst. Dean Stacia Zabusky, H&S Dean’s Office, 201 Muller. 

Responsibilities of the recipient:  Successful applicants will be responsible for providing a brief report of the outcome of their activities. If there is a tangible product or report at the completion of the project, it should also be provided.
