Frequently Asked Questions
I think I might like to work in a museum or gallery after I graduate. Should I get the regular B.A. in Art History or do the museum studies concentration?
You can do either. The Museum Studies concentration is especially designed to help students explore museums and galleries both as cultural institutions and potential workplaces. However, the B.A. in Art History also prepares you for the graduate work needed for most museum careers. Any student who meets the course prerequisites can take a museum studies class.
