Yes, each year the Art History department takes a weekend field trip to a major "arts" city (such as New York, Washington, Philadelphia).  Behind-the-scenes museum tours, career talks with alums, and of course lots of time to look at art and architecture on location are built into the schedule, and it's a great bonding opportunity for faculty and students.
