ZYMtronix is a startup company located in the Mc Govern Incubator in Weill Hall at Cornell University. They are developing new immobilization materials for specialty enzymes.
They are currently looking for research assistants for summer and academic year with lab and biochemistry experience.
Here is the job description:
"ZYMtronix Catalytic Systems is opening an intern position starting this summer and continuing through the fall. Competencies sought include, but are not limited to, biochemistry, protein assays and spectroscopy. Previous laboratory experience is necessary and the candidate must complete Cornell EH&S training by the start date. The selected candidate will participate in the R&D of marketable products. The work will take place in ZYMtronix's laboratories, under the supervision of the Biochemistry Lead. The work will make use of Cornell University Core Facilities. The candidate should have excellent organization, presentation and writing skills and be fluent in English. The work will require regular reporting to funding agencies and clients. This announcement is for a 7-month, full-time to part-time position (starting on June 2015 and ending on December 2015).
