Aaron is working in the lab of a world-renowned cancer pain scientist, Dr. Patrick Mantyh, at the University of Arizona. Under Pat's guidance he has co-authored several manuscripts and book chapters. His crowning achievement was to have one of his illustrations selected as a cover photo for BONE and another illustration is in contention for being selected as a cover photo for an upcoming edition of the Journal of Neuroscience. He has recently submitted two as first author. One of the papers uses an in vivo approach to visualizing skeletal progenitor cells, whereas the other paper concerns breast cancer metastasis to bone and our approach to reducing pain by use of Anti-NGF therapy.
