Summer 2008 application period is closed.

Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States or its possessions and must plan to be full-time undergraduates at a 4-year college or university in September 2008. Normally applicants will be sophomores or juniors majoring in computer science. However, students majoring in mathematics and other sciences will also be considered if they have the background outlined in at least one of the project descriptions.

Completed applications must be received by March 15, 2008. Decisions will be mailed by March 28, 2008. Applications must contain the following material:

• An application form (Download pdf) Please print and fill out the form and mail it with your application materials
• A current transcript (photocopy is acceptable). Include the transcript with your application materials.
• A faculty recommendation form (Download pdf). The recommendation must be from a faculty member within the department of your major who is familiar with your academic (and other) achievements. This form should be either mailed under separate cover or returned to you in a sealed, signed envelop to be included with your application materials.
