This course is three credits and open to students with senior standing. Students must obtain the permission of the instructor to register for this course.
Senior research is an integrative course that encourages majors to apply previously learned ideas and concepts to a specific area of environmental inquiry or a particular environmental problem under the direction of individual faculty members. There are several professors leading different ongoing research projects each semester and academic year. All research teams will engage in a rigorous research agenda, drawing on methodologies from natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities. Each research team is open to environmental studies or environmental science majors only.
