Local Experience, Real World Experience
Environmental Studies students at Ithaca College are prepared to meet the challenges and demands of your internship experience. Need help around the office with a project that's just a little too big for your current staff? Ever wish you had another set of eyes and ears to proof, edit, and add to your public media? Have an opening for a research assistant?
Local organizations are invited to fill out the following survey, and begin matching their needs to our students abilities. Whether your internship or work experience requires a week, a semester, or occurs every year, the information you provide can help match academic excellence to local needs.

Internships are Key
A way to work, learn, and give back to the community. A way to increase your work experience. And a way to explore your options for a career or studies after graduation from Ithaca College. Internships and work experience are considered to be a vital part of the Environmental Studies Program that all students are encouraged to fit into their academic schedule either during a semester or over a summer term.
This site is under construction. Please check back soon for a more consolidated internship format, which will match student needs directly to local work opportunities. Meanwhile, check out the 2009 Internships listings in the ESP Documents section and go to ESP's Commit-to-Change page to learn about internship and research funds available through the program's HSBC grant.
