Ithaca College Winter Session courses in Antigua and Barbuda
During the past two years over 30 Ithaca College students and as many Antiguans have taken courses offered in Antigua. Many students have said it was one of the most meaningful learning experiences of their life. The beauty of Antigua's beaches and mountains, rain forest, and, above all, its people make it an ideal place to learn about a different geographic and cultural environment while meeting wonderful people. Study in Antigua is an opportunity for you to enrich your education by being a part of this vital program of international service.

Ecotourism and Natural Resource Management (TRLS 27700): Approx. May 22-June 5. 2
credits.
This study abroad trip will be the two credit component of a three credit course (an additional,
optional credit being offered in Block II of spring semester) and will examine
ecotourism from an international perspective, by taking a trip to the U.S. Virgin Islands. Emphasis

management will be addressed. A majority of the course will be spent participating in various
ecotourism venues, including service learning, and hearing diverse stakeholders educate students about
the state of natural resources on the island and/or speak on issues related to tourism, in general.
