Dr. Carl Worth joins the department as assistant professor.
Navigation is dropped from the offerings, and Integral Calculus is expanded to two semesters.

The new math curriculum includes eight courses: College Algebra, Plane Trigonometry, Plane Analytic
Geometry, Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus, Differential Equations, Vector Analysis, and
Navigation.
1949-1950
Three courses are now offered: Beginning and Advanced Business Mathematics (each two hours per term)
and the new three-hour course, Business Statistics.
