Ithaca College Office of Residential Life with the assistance of the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures provides space in campus dormitories for language and culture learning. The purpose of the language and culture communities is to provide residents with the opportunity to regularly practice the target language. Residents also actively learn about and experience the culture of their chosen language, and the cultures of the other Language Communities, through a series of events, planned and coordinated by an RA (proficient in the language) and/or a trained Language Assistant.
