Professor Gladys Varona-Lacey presented a paper and chaired a panel at the V Congreso Internacional of the Asociación Hispánica de Humanidades in Seville, Spain from June 24-June 27, 2009.
I am pleased to announce the membership of a committee that will develop a strategic plan for Ithaca College that will focus and guide the institution's diversity efforts over the next five years (2010-2015). Creation of this plan is one of my objectives for this year, as reviewed and approved by the Board of Trustees.

Liz is a Spanish major with a dual minor in Italian and journalism; she has an overall GPA of 3.95, and a solid 4.0 in her Spanish, Italian, and journalism courses.
