When you join the Ithaca College Department of Physics you have joined a life long community of physicists. Your career starts here at IC; the members of our department will set the foundation for the rest of your career, then continue to provide you with support and feedback years after you have graduated. While you are here with us at IC, you will have numerous opportunities to talk with faculty members and fellow students, excel at coursework, conduct research, learn to present your scientific results in written, oral, and poster formats, and develop the skills that will land you a job or a place in an excellent graduate program (Heck, we hope you have just as much fun as we did when we were in school--and find jobs that let you have as much fun as we are having.)
