The 2008-09 season concluded with the Pi Kappa Delta National Tournament which was held in Louisiana State University in Shreveport, LA. The Ithaca College contingent included Nicole Reustle (09), Dan Parks (09), Jake Mender (09), Karolena Greenidge (10), Leneer Hutchinson (10), and Hieke Domine. Hieke was the team's top performer finishing in second place (in a field of more than 40) in Discussion. The team competed in Lincoln Douglas Debate, Parlimentary Debate, Prose, Poetry, Dramatic Interpretation, Broadcast Journalism, and Discussion.
2007-08 was a great year for the Ithaca College debate team. IC won a national title in Lincoln Douglas Debate (novice division). The Lincoln Douglas Open Championship was held at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas in early April. Congratulations to the winning team: Galen Danskin, Class of 2011, and Daniel Parks, Class of 2009.
