Speech communication students have many opportunities to grow as scholars in the discipline. Each year, qualified majors and minors are inducted into the National Communication Honor Society. To qualify for graduation with departmental honors, outstanding senior majors are invited to complete papers or performances under the direction of a designated faculty committee.
