Steve TenEyck

Steve teaches in the B.F.A. Theatrical Production Arts program and serves as the Associate Chair for the Department of Theatre at Ithaca College. Courses include Introduction to Theatrical Design, Lighting Design, Advanced Lighting Design, Computer-Aided Drafting, Script Analysis, Advanced Projects in Lighting Design, and Senior Projects in Lighting Design. Beyond teaching, Steve maintains an active freelance design career. His work includes designs for Syracuse Stage (Syracuse, NY), Tri-Cities Opera (Binghamton, NY), Syracuse Opera (Syracuse, NY),Tacoma Opera (Tacoma, WA), Minnesota Opera (Minneapolis MN), Merry Go Round Playhouse (Auburn, NY), Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival (Center Valley, PA), Kitchen Theatre (Ithaca, NY), Pacific Performance Project (Seattle, WA), Big Art Group (New York City), The Actors Company Theatre (New York City), Santa Barbara Dance Theatre (Santa Barbara, CA), Ensemble Theatre Company (Santa Barbara, CA), The Herson Group LTD. (Penn Yan, NY) and Gallegos Architectural Lighting Design Design (Bay Area & Los Angeles, CA). Steve received his B.A. from the University of California at Santa Barbara and his M.F.A. from the University of Washington School of Drama.
