Ricardo Hasse

 Biography

    I was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, and brought to live in rural eastern Washington State when I was still a toddler.  I grew up in a landscape of farms and pine forests.  A restless nature took me out on the road hitchhiking around the Pacific Northwest before I could drive, and that nature developed into a global travelling habit that occupied me into my late twenties.  Between periods abroad I worked as a farm hand, carpenter, gardener, physical trainer, cook, ESL teacher and hotel clerk.  After all that I decided to do for a living what I liked best - reading and writing - so I returned to school...and here I am.
