Robert Olen Butler has published ten novels and four volumes of short fiction, one of which, A Good Scent from a Strange Mountain, won the 1993 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction.  His most recent collections are Severance, which contains 62 short short stories in the voices of newly severed heads, and Intercourse, also comprised of short short stories, 100 of them in 50 couples.
