Charles Baxter is the author of two collections of essays on fiction, four collections of stories, and five novels, including The Feast of Love, nominated for the National Book Award in 2000. He is the recipient of a Guggenheim fellowship, a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Award in Literature from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. He teaches at the University of Minnesota.
