Celebrated as the literary founder of lesbian feminism, Judy Grahn is the author of 13 books of poetry, fiction, and nonfiction, including The Work of a Common Woman and Blood, Bread, and Roses, as well as numerous essays, short stories, and poem-works for the stage. Widely anthologized and the recipient of many prizes, her work has won the Before Columbus Foundation American Book Award and was specially honored with the 1996 establishment by Publisher’s Triangle of the continuing Judy Grahn Nonfiction Award.
