Founder and editor of the influential journal Creative Nonfiction, Lee Gutkind is the author of more than a dozen books, including Forever Fat: Essays by the Godfather, an acclaimed collection "written with piercing honesty" that conveys "emotional pain leavened with humor" (Publisher’s Weekly). Professor Gutkind founded the creative nonfiction program at the University of Pittsburgh, where he is a professor of English.
