The Department of Writing and the School of Humanities and Sciences are pleased to present Pulitzer Prize winners Robert Olen Butler and Yusef Komunyakaa and National Book Award finalist Vivian Gornick as part of this semester's Distinguished Visiting Writers Series. They will read from their work at 7:30 p.m. on February 6, March 25, and April 1, respectively. Readings are free and open to the public.

The Handwerker Gallery is pleased to announce the second reading of its fall 2007 "Thursdays at the Handwerker" series, November 8 at 6:30 p.m. The reading, themed "Dreams of Another Life," will feature the Department of Writing's assistant professor Elizabeth Lawson and senior Corey Millard.
