“Ithaca College's M.A.T. program in adolescence education gave me various opportunities to work with diverse student populations. These experiences have helped me transition from a graduate student into a successful beginning teacher."
- Stephen Marcin
M.A.T. Program Graduate
English teacher at Vestal High School, Vestal, NY
The M.A.T. in Adolescence Education (grades 7-12) and the M.S. in Childhood Education (grades 1-6) are Ithaca College’s newest graduate programs. Students in both programs have a marked passion for learning and a strong commitment to making a difference in students’ lives. They are also motivated and hard working -- fully ready to undertake rigorous coursework and valuable off-campus teaching experiences.
Whether their focus is on the humanities, social sciences, mathematics/science, or elementary education, our students strive to improve the quality of education for all learners.
