The Honors Student Experience
Being in honors is much more than taking a series of courses. Co-curricular programming – social events, service projects, travel opportunities, and an annual reading initiative – contribute to fostering a community.
Programs and events offered are as diverse as the students themselves and change each year with student interests. One year, our programming was themed around food. We visited a farm, volunteered at a food bank, and read Michael Pollan's Omnivore's Dilemma.
Additionally, honors housing provides a unique living environment to be surrounded by students who share your spirit of inquiry.
