The Round Food Tradition

The Ithaca College Honors Program has a rich tradition of valuable academic coursework and unique opportunities outside of the classroom. However, if you ask an honors student for an example of an honors program tradition, it is likely that that he or she will reply, "round food."

For years the honors program has had a standing tradition of serving round food at every kind of event associated with the program. From the first-year seminar fourth hour and the honors advisory committee meeting, where pizza is served without fail, to the monthly coffee talks, where students and professors alike munch on HobNobs and round biscuits, to the annual welcome back honors barbeque, where hamburgers, turkey burgers, and large cookies can be found on every plate, round food has become an intimate part of the Ithaca College honors experience!
