The sixth annual Ithaca College Klezmer Gala will take place at Ithaca College on Sunday, Feb. 22, at 4 p.m. in the Emerson Suites, Phillips Hall. Klezmer dance expert Roey Mendel will conduct a pre-gala dance workshop beginning at 3:30 p.m. in the North Foyer. Both events are free and open to the public.

ITHACA, NY — The Out of the Closet and Onto the Screen film series at Ithaca College will offer a showing of “Trembling Before G-d,” a documentary on Hasidic and Orthodox Jews who are gay or lesbian, on Thursday, Oct. 23. The screening, which is free and open to the public, is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Textor 102.

ITHACA, NY — The annual Holocaust Lecture at Ithaca College will be delivered by historian Peter Fritzsche on Tuesday, Oct. 28. His talk, “Becoming Nazi: Moral Choice in Everyday Life in the Third Reich,” will take place at 7:30 p.m. in Klingenstein Lounge, Egbert Hall.
