Summer and Fall 2010 Courses for Native American Studies
There are a variety of great courses to choose from for Native American Studies during summer and fall 2010. The Service Learning in Native America class, taught during the May session, will travel to the Cayuga and Onondaga Nations to engage in a variety of projects involving Native elders, gardening, and cultural revitalization. North American Indians, Summer Session I, is the gateway course for the minor and gives a broad overview of Native American nations, issues, and topics. During the 2010-2011 academic year we will be welcoming a Native American Studies pre-doctoral scholar in residence, who will be teaching courses, helping to organize Native American Celebration Month, and participating in a variety of campus activities. See the documents section for the PDF of all the courses.
