The Volunteer Research Internship Program, in the Department of Emergency Medicine at North Shore University Hospital, is seeking bright, ambitious, and self-motivated university students who are eager to gain experience in the medical field. While not exclusive to premedical juniors or seniors, we are selecting mature candidates who demonstrate exceptional character and ambition. Selected candidates will serve as volunteer interns on research projects in the Emergency Department.
· Patient identification and enrollment into clinical studies
· Data management (including data collection and entry, database creation, and analysis computer proficiency is necessary)
· Opportunities to increase knowledge of medical professions via attending lectures … and much more!
