Dean's Award Luncheon 2009
The School of Humanities and Sciences Dean's Award recognizes the outstanding graduate in each discipline in the School. This year's awardees joined their advisers, the chairs of their departments, and the Dean and Assistant/Associate Deans for a luncheon at the Tower Club in their honor.
- Dean's Award in Fine Arts: Alex Krasser, acting major, writing minor (adviser: Susannah Berryman, associate professor of theatre arts)
- Dean's Award in the Humanities: Elizabeth Getman, Spanish major, Italian & journalism minors (adviser: Gladys M. Varona-Lacey, professor of modern languages and literatures)
- Dean's Award in Natural Sciences and Mathematics: Colin Howard, physics major, H&S honors minor (adviser: Michael B. Rogers, assistant professor of physics)
- Dean's Award in Social and Behavioral Sciences: Shamika Jackson, psychology major, women’s studies minor (adviser: Hugh Stephenson, associate professor of psychology)
Note: Ms. Jackson was not able to attend the luncheon which is why her photo is not in the gallery.
