The Department of Environmental Studies and Sciences at Ithaca College and EcoVillage at Ithaca (EVI) have entered a long-term partnership for fostering education and research using EcoVillage as a "living laboratory."  As a model of a sustainable community, EVI provides experiential learning opportunities for college students while engaging in community outreach programs. The partnership involves a focused curriculum consisting of courses and the opportunity for ongoing research projects, independent studies, and residential experiences.

PSE has developed Sustainability-Based Learning Objectives.  We hope these are helpful to anyone teaching courses that incorporate elements of sustainability.  You can also find the file in the Documents section of this web page.
