Mathematics, Physics, and Education Faculty Awarded NSF Grant
A group of faculty members from the departments of Mathematics, Physics, and Education was recently awarded a grant by the National Science Foundation. The $1.2 million-dollar grant will support the Ithaca College Robert Noyce Scholarship Program. This five-year program, which will be led by professors David Brown, Linda Hanrahan, Matthew Price, Michael Rogers, and Aaron Weinberg, will prepare highly qualified mathematics and physics teacher candidates to teach in high-need school districts.
