Cultural immersion opportunities allow students to extend their classroom knowledge through immersion in off-campus settings where they have the opportunity to

• engage with another culture;
• practice their communication skills;
• understand themselves as cultural representatives;
• appreciate others’ world views; and
• connect classroom learning with complex environments.
