Undergraduate Research
Undergraduate research opportunities allow students to apply knowledge, skills, and theories learned in the classroom to authentic research efforts. Students use systematic methods to make intellectual contributions to a field and share their research findings via a public presentation.
Examples of undergraduate research include:
- collaborating with a faculty member on a project designed by the student;
- engaging in laboratory or field research;
- engaging in community research; and/or
- utilizing archival data.
