Example of Physics 4 Year Schedule
EXAMPLE OF A FOUR-YEAR PROGRAM IN PHYSICS
All Physics majors in the teaching option are assigned faculty advisors from the physics department and from science education. Students meet with their advisors during preregistration at which time they discuss course selections.
The following is an example of a possible schedule for a Physics major with the Teaching Option at Ithaca College. This should be used only as a guideline. There are many different schedules that fulfill the graduation requirements for Physics. Electives include general education requirements (including a writing requirement), and additional math courses. The numbers in brackets represent the course number. A complete listing and description of all requirements and courses is contained in the Ithaca College Undergraduate Announcements.
Note: the electives include mathematics requirements and free electives.
