|Dr. Justin Alexander Scholarship Award|
My name is Nathan Storb, I am from Warrington, Pennsylvania, and I am in Ithaca College’s physical therapy class of 2015. I was able to complete the undergraduate program with a degree in Clinical Health Studies, and a minor in exercise science. I decided to come to Ithaca College not only because of the location and the small class size, but for the reputation of Ithaca College’s physical therapy program. When I am not studying or working, and the weather is nice, I enjoy going golfing, whitewater kayaking, and hiking.
One of my most memorable moments at Ithaca College had to be the time when I was allowed to go to the APTA National Student Conclave. A small group of students and I were able to drive down to Louisville, Kentucky to attend the event. We were able to learn more about what the APTA does as well as interact and network with other physical therapy students. Since the convention, I have dedicated my time and role in our physical therapy club to find more funding to get more students involved in our profession.
