Professional Excellence Award - Sport Management

I came across Ithaca College on an online search for Sport Management programs while a junior in high school and honestly had not heard of the school while growing up in suburban Topsfield, Massachusetts. Upon further research, I soon found out that Sport Management was a strong program, and that Ithaca College was a great school. However, I was only scratching the surface with that preliminary research, and once I stepped out of the car in the visitor lot that April morning and looked around, I knew that IC was the school for me. The testimonials I heard from students convinced me even more that IC was a perfect fit based on the tremendous extracurricular experiences they had completed.

People have told me that I will miss out on many memories with an early graduation, but I reassure them that while there are plenty of memories I will cherish from IC, the people I have met and the countless connections are most valuable and special as I look back. The projects I was fortunate enough to be a part of and the people I met helped to shape my IC years and the person I want to be.
