Ben Light Memorial Scholarship
This award was established by gifts of the family and friends of the late Ben Light, a devoted administrator who helped build the South Hill campus. The recipient is selected by the Ben Light Memorial Scholarship Committee from a pool of campus-wide nominations received from the schools. The recipient is selected based on her/his 'outstanding contributions to the community and financial need'.
Applications received from students with majors in the School of HS&HP will be reviewed by faculty and administration of the school, and two names will be forwarded on to the All-College Ben Light Memorial Scholarship Committee for consideration.
