The Occupational Therapy Department will be acknowledged nationally as an exceptional program for the education of Occupational Therapy practitioners to meet the health and wellness needs of consumers in the 21st century.
The mission of the Occupational Therapy Program is to prepare competent, skilled, and ethical professional occupational therapists. We meet this mission by:
- Emphasizing clinical reasoning and experiential learning that is informed by scholarship and service
- Providing interdisciplinary and multicultural opportunities to broaden student perspectives
- Collaboratively engaging our undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff in fostering a rich learning environment to meet the personal and professional demands of society today and in the future.
