My clinical experience is in the pediatrics and developmental disabilities specialty area. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Ithaca College, and an MS in Developmental Disabilities from the University of Rochester. I attained board certification as a Pediatric Specialist in 1999. I am also certified to administer the Southern California Sensory Integration and Praxis Tests, and the Gross Motor Function Measure. Recent research focus has included models of care and outcomes of interventions for children with physical and developmental disabilities, in addition to coordination of care for children with complex health care needs.

My primary teaching responsibilities for Ithaca College include Clinical Science-Pediatrics (671-61800), and Research II (671-60800). I am also the Physical Therapy Discipline Coordinator for the University of Rochester LEND program (Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disorders), a Maternal and Child Health Bureau Training Grant. This training grant offers clinical fellowship opportunities for disciplines including Physical Therapy.

I continue my active clinical practice at the Kirch Developmental Services Center Physical Disabilities clinic, at the Golisano Children’s Hospital @ Strong. As a member of an interdisciplinary team, I provide physical therapy evaluations for children with physical disabilities from various parts of central and western New York State.
