For a brief bio: I graduated from Ithaca College in 1976 with a degree in Biology, then went on to study physical therapy at New York University and orthopedic physical therapy at the University of Indianapolis. I came to Ithaca College as a clinical assistant professor of physical therapy in 1989. Since then, I returned to school and received a license in massage therapy and am now a clinical associate. My job at Ithaca College includes teaching orthopedic courses and working in the campus PT Clinic. I have a special interest in music-related injuries and also direct the Healthy Musicians Workshop during the summers. I also am certified in manual lymphatic therapy and have a private practice treating people with lymph edema. I also am an APTA Board Certified Specialist in Orthopaedics. I am very interested in traditional chinese medicine and have taken students to China to study. I have completed my Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Washington University School of Medicine in St Louis, MO.
I live downtown and enjoy outdoor sports - especially sailing and motorcycling. I ride a Harley V-Rod.. I am also a musician "wanna be". I am presently striving to learn to play the steel drum.
