- Alison Bailey (faculty advisor Michael Buck) - Choosing When and When Not to Use Spinal Manipulation for Patients With Low Back Pain
This is a photo of the graduate students who participated in last Octobers' "Making Strides Walk" in Rochester.
PT students from Ithaca College, Clarkson University, U of Buffalo, and PTA students from Nassau Community College gathered in Binghamton, NY Saturday October 8th to assist with the Special Olympics New York Fall Games. Over 700 athletes gathered in the Southern Tier area to compete in the Games. The PT students performed the APTA's FunFitness screenings, testing the athletes' strength, flexibility, and balance, and offered education and advice for enhancing their performance.
Eighteen IC PT students, and faculty member Barb Belyea, participated. IC had the largest contingent of any program.
