Final Graduate Year Info
Ithaca College has seven full-time faculty who teach and/or coordinate the required courses in the final graduate year of the DPT curriculum at Ithaca College's Rochester Center.
A feature of the final graduate year is the use of guest speakers participating in lectures and clinical laboratories. These individuals participate in several courses on topics in medicine, surgery, neurology, orthopedics, and pediatrics.
Another strong aspect of the program in Rochester is the research component. Much of the research content is taught in small groups. Students are thus exposed to the existing body of knowledge in their interest area with a faculty mentor guiding them through an understanding of the research process. Some student projects culminate in publication or presentation at state, regional, and national conferences. More info ...
