Ithaca College has seven full-time faculty who teach and/or coordinate the required graduate year courses at the Rochester Center.

A special feature of the graduate year is the abundance of guest speakers participating in lectures and clinical laboratories. Rochester's medical community offers physicians, physical therapists, nurses, and other health care professionals with nationally renowned expertise. These individuals participate in several courses on topics in medicine, surgery, neurology, orthopedics, and pediatrics.

Another strong aspect of the program in Rochester is the research component. Much of the research content is taught in small groups, allowing students and faculty to explore a special interest in depth. Students are thus exposed to the existing body of knowledge in their interest area with a faculty mentor guiding them through the research process. Many student projects culminate in publication or presentation at state, regional, and national conferences.
