Ithaca College's New Clinical Doctorate

Freshmen entering the doctor of physical therapy program at Ithaca College will be able to fulfill the requirements for a D.P.T. in six total years of study. The hallmark of the College's first doctoral program will be excellence in intellectual growth coupled with intense and varied professional clinical experience.

For specific courses, see the the D.P.T. curriculum.

Transfer students to the PT are welcome, but opportunities are competitive and based on available space. The six year DPT program is designed for freshman entry, however internal and external students may transfer into the program starting as early as the spring semester of the freshmen year and up to the beginning of Physical Therapy Department courses.  See Transfer Oppotunities section for more details.
