Recreation and Leisure Studies Department Represented at State Conference
Eleven students from the Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies (RLS) actively participated in
the New York State Recreation and Park Society Business Expo in Saratoga Springs, New York.
The newly initiated IC alumni/student social attracted over 40 professionals and students from around
the state. RLS faculty also played an active role in the conference whereby associate professors
Margaret Arnold, RLS chair, and John Weber launched their entrepreneurial business that directly links
recreation practitioners to RLS course projects.
