Speech-Language Pathology Faculty Present at National Conference

Clinic coordinator Mary Pitti and clinical assistant professor Liz Begley, of the Department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, presented three papers at the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) conference, held November 15-17 in Boston.

Pitti coauthored a paper with Robert Strominger, M.D., entitled "Voice Recovery Following a Propane Explosion: Medical Intervention and Voice Therapy." She coauthored a second paper with Liz Begley, "Bridging the Communication Gap: AAC and Dysphagia."

Liz Begley authored the third poster presentation: "Developing AAC Labs: Knowledge and Skills for Service Delivery."
