I was here at Ithaca College for my undergraduate work where I received my BA in May 2006 in Health and Physical Education. For my Graduate Assistantship I work in the Curriculum and Methods lab as a supervisor. I chose to come to IC for a couple reasons. I am from around here and love the Ithaca area, but also because my Mom works at IC, and I knew I would be able to get a great education along with being able to get tuition assistance. My favorite part of Ithaca is the downtown area along with the gorges. I would have to say my most memorable experience here at IC along with making the friends I have made, was graduating last May. One experience/class that I felt was a major point of growth towards my career goal was my student teaching experience. I felt I was able to get a true feeling for how my teaching career will be and you get to learn a lot from your cooperating teacher.
