Strategic Career Planning: From Internships and Beyond
This session features students and faculty who will be speaking about strategic career planning and resources available in and through the department. Our scheduled student speakers thus far include:
- Derek Anderson, SM '11 - interned with Auburn Doubledays
- Michael Bittman, SM '10 - interned with Sky Blue Soccer, SM&M Mentor
- Gavin Cote, SMedia '12 - interned with University of Maine Sports Information
- Chad De Luca, SM '11 - student assistant with Cornell University men's basketball team and interned with the Maine Red Claws (part of the NBA Development League); also founder & president of the Sport Marketing Club
- Cory Francer, SS '10 - worked with USA Today during the summer of 2009 & the Beijing Olympic News Service
- Elizabeth Masucci, SMedia '10 - interned with Sky Blue Soccer, member of the IC women's soccer team and SM&M Mentor
- Kevin Solan, SMedia '10 - interned with New York State Golf Association & Syracuse ISP
- Kelsey Ward, SM '11 - interned with the Binghamton Mets
