*However, candidates should have a work history in the sport industry and/or must be committed to gaining experience immediately.

Application Checklist

Ithaca College’s master’s program in Sport Management can be completed in as little as one year. And with small class sizes, graduate students enjoy individualized attention and unparalleled learning opportunities. 

To apply, please gather and submit the following materials:

  • A completed online application
  • Resume
  • Personal Statement
  • GRE or GMAT scores
  • Two letters of recommendation from faculty references who can attest to your academic performance
  • Two letters of recommendation from supervisors or others who can attest to your work performance (for those seeking graduate assistantships only)
  • One course in economics
  • Official transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate institutions
  • Minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 to be considered for a graduate assistantship; applicants with grade point averages lower than a 3.0 may be admitted with provisional student status
